Rates & Payment Information

The Wise Mind DBT & CBT Center Psychotherapists provide services that are paid for using our Self-Pay, Annual Gross Household Income-Based, Sliding Fee Scale. We offer a sliding fee scale as an effort to increase access to our services.
Session rates for a typical 45-60 minute individual or family psychotherapy visit range from $80-$200 depending on where your income level falls on our sliding fee scale. You will be provided with a Financial Agreement and Good Faith Estimate which will make transparent any fees that you could expect to be charged during your course of care.

In-Network Insurance Coverage:
At Wise Mind DBT & CBT Center, we currently are only accepting limited health insurance plans as in-network providers, and those plans are United Healthcare and UMR; in addition, the only therapist taking health insurance payments is Lisa Herpolsheimer, LCSW.

Important Information About Our Rates:
Rates are subject to change. Your rate for psychotherapy services will not be changed without you first receiving 60 days notice in writing of the rate change, and you would have the opportunity to discuss the rate with the Director, and would be asked to sign a revised Financial Agreement that reflects any updated rates. All efforts are made to prevent the need for rate changes during the course of care, although it is not impossible that business conditions may mandate us to make a change in our rates.

Forms of Payment Accepted Include:
Major Credit Cards
Health Savings Account Cards
Debit Cards
Personal Checks
Out Of Network Insurance Benefits and Statements:
Statements are available, upon your request, to facilitate the process of you seeking Out of Network Benefits reimbursement directly from your Health Insurance Company. Wise Mind DBT & CBT Center and its associates cannot make any guarentee or estimate of what your health insurance Out of Network benefits may or may not reimburse you for our services--this is because plans vary greatly in terms of required deductibles and percentages allowed under Out of Network Benefits. You are advised to contact your Member Services information line of your insurance company, so that you understand your Out of Network Benefits and the process for making a claim throughly.
