Rates & Payment Information

The Wise Mind DBT & CBT Center Psychotherapists provide services that are paid for using our Self-Pay Sliding Fee Scale, this means that the rate you will qualify for is based upon your annual household income.

We offer the sliding fee scale as an effort to increase access to our services.

We are not "In Network Providers" with any Health Insurance Plans. See below for information about using your "Out of Network Benefits."

FEES PER SESSION:

Session rates for a typical 45-60 minute individual or family psychotherapy weekly session typically range from $95 to $225 depending on where your income level falls on our sliding fee scale and the Primary Therapist you have selected to work with. You will be provided with a Financial Agreement and Good Faith Estimate which will make transparent any fees that you could expect to be charged during your course of care.

OUT OF NETWORK HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS MAY BE HONORED BY YOUR HEALTH PLAN.

Please talk with Lisa on your free consultation call about how accessing your Out of Network Benefits generally works.

Accessing your Out of Network Benefits may help you because your health plan would directly reimburse you for part of fees you self-paid to us for your services.

Important Additional Information About Our Rates:

Rates are subject to change. Your rate for psychotherapy services will not be changed without you first receiving 60 days notice in writing of the rate change, and you would have the opportunity to discuss the rate with the Director, and would be asked to sign a revised Financial Agreement that reflects any updated rates. All efforts are made to prevent the need for rate changes during the course of care, although it is not impossible that business conditions may mandate us to make a change in our rates.

Forms of Payment Accepted Include:

Major Credit Cards

Health Savings Account Cards

Debit Cards

Personal Checks

More Information on Out Of Network Insurance Benefits and Statements:

Statements are available, upon your request, to facilitate the process of you seeking Out of Network Benefits reimbursement directly from your Health Insurance Company. Wise Mind DBT & CBT Center and its associates cannot make any guarantee or estimate of what your health insurance Out of Network benefits may or may not reimburse you for our services--this is because plans vary greatly in terms of required deductibles and percentages allowed under Out of Network Benefits. You are advised to contact your Member Services information line of your insurance company, so that you understand your Out of Network Benefits and the process for making a claim thoroughly.

Completion of the Clinical Consultation is required before an Offer of Admission can be made.

IF YOU ARE IN AN IMMEDIATE CRISIS, AND NEED ASSISTANCE RIGHT NOW, PLEASE DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

*If your situation is possibly life-threatening, please either call 9-11 or go to the nearest Emergency Room via a trusted person ideally assisting you to arrive at the ER safely for immediate assessment.

* If you are in a mental health crisis that is not immediately life or safety threatening,  and need to speak to someone immediately, please DIAL 9-88 to be connected to the 24/7/365 Mental Health Crisis and Support Line.

The Purpose of the Consultation:

The Consultation Call is a discussion to best determine fit for possible admission either at our center, or if another center will more likely be a better fit, then a referral for you will be provided when it is possible for our Director to do so. The consultation call also provides you with opportunity to ask about how our center works (i.e. fees, admission timeframes, and other common questions people often have when deciding where they would like to start therapy services).

Important Information to Know About Our Clinical Consultations:

Completion of the Consultation Call does not guarantee that an Offer of Admission will be made to you or for your loved one.

This is predominately because of the following: if our center or our therapy providers are not the best fit for your clinical needs (or your loved one's clinical needs), our Director will do her best to offer you a relevant referral to another provider-- or a directory of providers--so that you can choose to reach out to an alternative provider that may fit the clinical needs better that our center would.

Admission Offers also depend on the availability at our Center to take on a new client.

IF WE ARE CURRENTLY QUOTING A WAIT TIME FOR ENTERING OUR SERVICES:

We make every effort to make wait times reasonably short; however, the wait time can vary significantly from NO WAIT TIME, to a few weeks wait, or even a few months wait time (rarely, but this is possible). You will be notified of any pre-admission Wait Time--to the best of our Director's current ability to ESTIMATE the WAIT TIME--during the consultation call.

Medical/Therapy Professional Services Disclaimer:

The Consultation also should not be regarded as a therapy service, a diagnostic service, nor does it establish a client-patient relationship between you and us.

Voluntary Status Clients Only:

We only serve clients who are voluntary for admission, and this voluntary requirement applies to both teen clients as well as adult clients. We do not accept persons court-ordered to treatment.
